I’m Vishal, a second-year B.Tech student in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science who lives at the intersection of data, design, and curiosity. Beyond Python, SQL, and analytics, I’m fascinated by machine learning systems—experimenting with convolutional neural networks, tinkering with retrieval-augmented generation workflows, and sharing what I learn through peer mentoring on campus. A big part of my inspiration comes from Japan’s tech scene, which keeps me motivated to learn the language and understand its innovation culture. I’m also passionate about 3D experiences, exploring how immersive visuals can make AI insights more intuitive and engaging. I’m actively seeking internships where I can bring this blend of ML exploration, global perspective, and creative energy to real-world projects, while continuing to level up alongside collaborative teams.
I pursued my early education from 6th to 8th grade at Madras Christian College Hr Sec School, where I developed a strong foundation in academics and began exploring my interests. This period laid the groundwork for my future studies and personal growth.
From 9th to 12th at SLB Govt Hr Sec School, I pursued the Maths-Biology group, where I developed both analytical and scientific skills. This experience sparked my interest in how data science can be applied to biological research and healthcare
In my 2nd year at Stella Mary's College of Engineering, pursuing B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, I’ve been building a strong foundation in programming and understanding the basics of AI. This phase is helping me explore new opportunities and skills in the field.
In Toastmasters, I’ve had the opportunity to refine my public speaking, leadership, and communication skills through regular meetings and various roles. From delivering speeches to evaluating others, each session has helped me grow more confident and articulate, making it a crucial part of my personal and professional development journey.
Byte Bash Blitz, is an exciting platform where I immersed myself in various technical events and competitions. It allowed me to challenge myself, showcase my skills, and collaborate with peers who share a similar passion for technology. This experience not only expanded my technical knowledge but also strengthened my problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
I participated in the Smart India Hackathon and the MSME Hackathon, where my team and I tackled real-world problems with innovative solutions. Our project, S-Bin, focused on promoting a clean environment through smart waste segregation and disposal. Our hard work and dedication paid off when we were awarded a seed money scheme by our college management to support our project, motivating us to continue our efforts in environmental sustainability.
